Start your Wednesday with community! Join us at Brocato’s each week from 8:00–9:30 AM for breakfast, conversation, and connection. Come whenever you can— stay as long as you like! Whether you stay the whole time or just drop by, you’ll find friendly faces and a place to belong.
H2O meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 9am-11am at the Emmanuel Baptist Church parking lot. H2O is a monthly homeless street outreach sponsored by Volunteers of America in Central Louisiana.
Each month, a team of our church members and other community partners volunteer and assist the Homeless Coalition of Central Louisiana to provide aid and support to the homeless in our community. Our team offers clothing, toiletries, and food, along with other essential items collected by our church at large. We believe that when we love our neighbors as ourselves, we are doing what Jesus asks us to do.
Join us each week for a low-impact adult exercise class with C.A.R.E. Fitness. This class is open to anyone in the public. The cost is $10 per week. Most exercise equipment will be provided. Call the church office if you have any questions.
The Governing Board will meet immediately following worship in the Activities Building. These are open door meetings to the church. All are welcome to attend to hear what's happening in the church!

Join us as we celebrate Pastor Monica and her retirement! Her last Sunday at HDUMC will be June 7 and we have planned a summer barbeque with hamburgers and hotdogs and an ice cream social following worship. Come early for worship at 10:30 to hear her final message that will inspire us as we continue in our mission as members of Horseshoe Methodist congregation. In advance of that official celebration, I ask that you prayerfully consider making a love offering to support Pastor Monica as she transitions into retirement. Your gifts may be made online any day of the week or given to Courtney personally no later than May 31. We will present this check to Pastor Monica at the event on June 7.
Pastor Monica has been a kind, vibrant, engaging leader for HDUMC and her presence will be missed. Help us in celebrating her gifts of ministry and send her off with the love that HDUMC is known to give.

Get ready for Snowball Mountain Challenge!
Kids will become Challengers, gearing up for frosty games, snowy surprises, and hands-on lessons about resilience and faith. Your kids will be guided daily by your energetic Activities Director and the lovable Ollie the Arctic Seal, who is reporting on the events. Challengers aren’t just playing games; they learn to draw strength from their faith through powerful stories of courage and hope. At Snowball Mountain Challenge kids will learn one of our favorite mottos: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Join us on a mountain-top experience filled with laughter, life lessons, and lasting faith.
